(SEYAJ) is an independent civil society organization specialized in protection and enhancing of child rights. It was established in Yemen on August 05th 2008 and received its registration certificate No. (64/144) from the Social Affairs and Labor Ministry.
Seyaj also runs a center specialized in monitoring and documenting violence against children in emergency and normal conditions. It also monitors violence against children, and issues studies, reports and polling regarding children. Additionally, it provides legal assistance and advocacy to child victims.
It gives its services to child victims of violence, exploitation, negligence and mistreatment through a network of volunteers which covers all regions of Yemen. Seyaj has a network which exceeds 800 volunteers from various majors relating to child rights. It is also a member in a number of national and international associations.
Seyaj focuses on enhancing and protecting child rights, particularly children from the most impoverished, conflict and instability areas.
The headquarters of Seyaj is located in Sana’a and it covers all Yemeni areas.
