The Specialized Criminal Court in Hajjah Governorate issued a verdict today against the rapist and murderer of a 12-year-old girl, after convicting him of the crimes attributed to him.
Judicial sources told Al-Siyaj that the sentence will be carried out in a public square in the center of Al-Tur district in northwestern Yemen. The verdict also stipulated the payment of one million Yemeni riyals (approximately $200 USD) as financial compensation to the victim’s family.
