Renowned Arab musician, Ahmed Fathi, urged Yemen to prioritize basic education as an inherent right for children to safeguard the country’s future.
During his participation in the Education to Protect Yemen campaign, Fathi stated, “We are with you, heart and soul, to help millions of Yemeni children to achieve their right to education as a humanitarian and national duty, especially in the difficult circumstances that our country is going through.”
On November 21, 2015, International Child Rights Day, Seyaj launched the campaign to raise awareness of the value of education as a fundamental right for all children and to caution against the harmful consequences of armed conflict on education.
