A file documenting a “serious crime or violation of international law” consists of supporting documents and evidence, including but not limited to:

  1. A written complaint or report to the organization from the victim’s guardian or legal representative.
  2. The victim’s birth certificate, school certificate, exam registration number, or the guardian’s family card.
  3. The organization’s monitoring and documentation form (detailed data and information on all parties involved in the case), including: the victim, the accused(s), the time and place of the crime, details and circumstances of the crime, the case’s progress as monitored and documented by the organization, etc.).
  4. The accused’s(s) confessions in police or prosecution investigation reports or court session transcripts.
  5. Testimonies of witnesses who were present during the incident. The crime. An expert report, for example: a forensic report, a criminal evidence report, or any official report that supports the evidence proving the crime. Photos and videos of the crime. News or neutral reports from a reliable source.
