The Siyaj Organization for Child Protection welcomes the UN Security Council resolution on Yemen, which condemned “the ongoing human rights violations by the Yemeni authorities, their excessive use of force against peaceful protesters, and the killing of hundreds of civilians, including children and women.”

Siyaj announces its full support for the resolution and its call to end the unlawful use of children, affirming that the UN Security Council resolution has championed the cause of children in Yemen, who have been living in tragic conditions amidst the violence that has plagued civilians for months.

In this regard, the Siyaj Organization for Child Protection demands practical measures regarding the crimes established before the Security Council, which led to Resolution 2014, and their referral to the International Criminal Court. It also calls for urgent intervention to stop the killings and the excessive use of lethal force against civilians, and to halt all acts of reprisal. Collective.

The organization emphasizes the necessity of holding accountable all those involved in acts of killing and the use of lethal force against civilians, including children.
