Last night in Taiz, three-year-old Mahmoud Abdulrahman Al-Alimi died from three gunshot wounds. A member of the security forces is accused of the crime.

The Child Protection Network calls on the Governor of Taiz and the Public Prosecutor to take the necessary legal measures to ensure justice and fairness for the Al-Alimi family and to prevent the perpetrator of this heinous crime from escaping punishment.

The complaint filed by the family of the martyred child with the Siyaj Organization states that the soldiers accused of the crime have not been handed over as of the writing of this appeal.

The complaint explained that a member of the security forces of Al-Masrakh Directorate fired several shots at sunset in the village mosque courtyard, and the child was struck by three bullets in vital areas of his body.
