The Institute for Children’s Rights (IDE) in Switzerland has awarded the “Siyaj for Child Protection” organization the title of “Organization of the Month” for its exemplary work in protecting, monitoring, advocating for, and promoting children’s rights in Yemen. This recognition is in appreciation of Siyaj’s outstanding role in protecting and advocating for children’s rights in Yemen.

The IDE has bestowed this title upon Siyaj for the month of August 2010. A profile of Siyaj, its role in protecting children in Yemen, and its key activities and programs will be featured in English, French, and German on a dedicated page of the Institute’s website (http://www.childsrights.org/html/site_fr/index.php?c=ong_ong) to highlight selected organizations.

The Institute selects national organizations specializing in child protection from various countries worldwide to be named Organization of the Month based on prior nominations and specific criteria.

While the Siyaj Organization expresses its thanks and appreciation to the Institute for the Rights of the Child (IDE) for this honor, it considers it a great incentive for it to develop its performance and continue its journey in monitoring, documenting, protecting and advocating for children victims of violence and working with all national and international institutions in order to achieve its noble goals.
