Seyaj called on the security and judicial authorities in areas controlled by Ansar Allah Houthis to take the necessary legal measures against the killer of eleven-year-old Asim Mohammed Hashem in Al-Ta’izziyah district.
According to information received by the organization, the suspect, who was said to be affiliated with Ansar Allah in the district, arrived at a wedding with both a civilian car and a military vehicle and then opened fire toward the wedding tent. Witnesses told Seyaj that one of the bullets struck the child in the heart and killed him.
The organization said initial information indicated that the suspect had been arrested, though it had not yet confirmed whether he was being formally held in connection with the case. Seyaj called for full legal accountability and justice for the victim.
