The Specialized Criminal Court in Hajjah governorate issued a ruling against the rapist and killer of a twelve-year-old girl after convicting him of the crimes attributed to him.
Judicial sources told Seyaj that the sentence would be carried out publicly in the center of Al-Tur district in northwestern Yemen. The court also ordered the payment of one million Yemeni rials in compensation to the victim’s family.
Seyaj highlighted the ruling as an important step toward justice for the victim and accountability for grave crimes against children.
