Renowned Arab musician Ahmed Fathi called for greater support for basic education in Yemen, describing it as a fundamental right for every boy and girl and a vital safeguard for the country’s future.

During his participation in Seyaj’s #Education_Protects_Yemen campaign, Fathi said everyone should stand together to help millions of Yemeni children obtain their right to education, especially under the difficult circumstances facing the country.

Seyaj had launched the national campaign the previous week on the occasion of Universal Children’s Day to mobilize support for children’s access to education.
