A court in eastern Sana’a sentenced two brothers after convicting them in the rape of a ten-year-old girl. The ruling imposed five years’ imprisonment with enforcement and ordered them to pay ten million Yemeni rials in compensation to the victim, in addition to court costs.

In a separate case, a court in western Taiz convicted a defendant of sexually assaulting and defrauding a fourteen-year-old boy, sentencing him to three years in prison and ordering him to pay two million rials, legal fees, and restitution.

Seyaj’s legal support team praised the judges, prosecutors, and lawyers involved in the two cases, emphasizing the importance of judicial redress and compensation in securing justice for child victims of sexual violence and exploitation.
