Three-year-old Mahmoud Abdulrahman Al-Alimi died in Taiz after being hit by three bullets, and one member of the security forces was accused of the crime.

Seyaj Organization for Childhood Protection called on the governor of Taiz and the Public Prosecution to take the legal steps necessary to ensure justice for the child’s family and to prevent the perpetrator of this brutal crime from escaping punishment. According to the family’s complaint to Seyaj, the accused soldiers had not yet been handed over at the time of the appeal.

The complaint stated that a security member in Al-Misrakh district fired several shots near the village mosque at sunset, fatally wounding the child. Seyaj urged a serious investigation and full accountability.
