The Institute for the Rights of the Child (IDE) in Switzerland awarded Seyaj Organization for Childhood Protection the title of ‘Organization of the Month’ in recognition of its distinguished work in protection, monitoring, advocacy, and support for children’s rights in Yemen.
IDE selected Seyaj for the month of August 2010 and announced that information about the organization, its role in child protection, and its main activities and programs would be featured in English, French, and German on one of the institute’s main website pages dedicated to spotlighting selected organizations.
Seyaj said the recognition was a strong motivation to continue improving its work in documentation, protection, and advocacy for child victims of violence and to strengthen cooperation with national and international institutions in pursuit of its mission.
